Yes, I am now 23. Happy birthday to me, etc., etc.

My mom and my sister were here. Yesterday we went to the mall and then my mom cooked me dinner (fried potatoes, green beans, and cornbread). Today my mommy made me a cake, then to the horror of my sister, we went to Ruby Tuesday's. :) She hates it. Oh well. Then we went to Best Buy and I spent money I don't have on CDs (oh the fuck well, it's my birthday, I won't be getting loan money tomorrow anyway)- various Rimsky-Korsakov pieces, Aerosmith "Big Ones",and Poison's Greatest Hits. I'm wearing my "Dirty South Monster Truck Rally '79" shirt from Hot Topic so I am allowed to be so hickish. Then we went to see Seabiscuit. It was really good. We came back to my crib and had cake. It was good. Then they left.

It was a nice day, but nothing could top last year.

Now, if you would please excuse me, I have a headache and this keyboard sucks and there are way too many little freshmen in here, so I'm going to go home to do the one reading I have left for ethnomusicology tomorrow, then I am going to lock myself in the bathroom and drink myself stupid. I don't know why the bathroom, it just sounds good.
