Ooooooh baby, randomize me!

Don't play like jello. Don't play in jello either. It's all about the pudding.

Well, thanks to Aaron and Cathie, I have now fixed my grievous error of the previous entry. From now on, instead of epiphanies or epitomes or even revelation, I will stick to having apostrophes. I like those the best. They're very.... punctuation-y.

Anyway, so apparently I'm supposed to audition for this local chamber orchestra gig. But you know what, I really don't want to. I think I'll have quite enough to do as it is. And I haven't even had a flute lesson yet! The flute teacher might make me do flute choir! She might make me teach lessons to flute-playing wee chilluns. Flute choir and teaching lessons are very scary! I need to get a jobby-job on top of all of this! I like exclamation points!

Speaking of the fruitless search (or lack thereof) for a jobby-job, I found the greatest used bookstore this afternoon. Naturally I asked the girl working there if they were hiring. Naturally they were not- she said everyone asks her that. Boo. Dammit. People should throw easy ID-swiping or nice used bookstore-working jobs at poor broke graduate students. Gah.

Oh well. I bought "Agnes Gray" (Anne Bronte of course) and also "The Devil's Dictionary" by Ambrose Bierce. Good stuff. Not that I'll be reading books for fun any time soon. *sigh*

I got three birthday cards today! Yay! I should have saved them for Sunday, like I usually do, just so I have actual stuff to open on my birthday *sniff sniff* but getting mail is just so much fun here. Because all of it (if any) is addressed to me! No more silly junk for my dad. Living alone has its perks. Maybe.

For instance, I could drink straight out of the milk carton if I really wanted to. But I don't really. I'm just saying.

Okay, the hunger and the tiredness and the incoherence is starting to get to me. So I'm off to an exciting evening of... homework? Or something. Have a good night all. :)
