Mmmmm, books. 2004-05-20 - 11:49 p.m.
So I've been sitting on my ass here in Hickville for a week. Big deal. But I have read eight books in seven days. For the sake of being incredibly annoying (as everything I write is, no doubt), I will list these books for you:
Agnes Grey - Anne Bronte
The Communist Manifesto - Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels
Three Plays (Medea, Hippolytus, and Helen) - Euripides
The Giver - Lois Lowry
Flowers for Algernon - Daniel Keyes
The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold
Cyrano de Bergerac - Edmond Rostand
The Oresteain Trilogy (Agamemnon, The Choephori, and The Eumenides) - Aeschylus
With the exception of the first book, all of these books are my sister's. Like me, the kid has a lot of fancy schmancy books she's never read. But now I'm sitting around reading them all, because I have ABSOLUTELY nothing else to do! Haha! I'm not just devouring these books, I'm ripping out the pages, putting them into the blender, chopping them up really fine and snorting them!
Mmmm, books. They keep the mind off the painful, painful boredom and the lack of nice people who play drums and such. Next I'm going to read Firestarter because I haven't read any Stephen King in a while and all the Greek tragedy is starting to make my brain hurt.
I've got nothing to say, really. Goodnight all. :)
