Booze + music geeks = good times for all 2003-10-25 - 6:36 p.m.
Somehow I have faffed most of the day away. I'm not sure why I just said 'faffed'. Oh well. Anyway, I certainly had good intentions. I did two loads of laundry. I'm not sure why, but doing laundry is quite enjoyable. Yes, I am indeed weird.
Happy Hour last night was lovely, as always. It was certainly a wind/string reconciliation for the ages. Such diversity in orchestral musicians, all crammed into a too-small booth, thanks to the evil hostess from Detroit (note: remember, for purposes of this diary, 'Detroit' means 'hell'). Anyway, I think we all agreed on the fact that our upcoming concert is going to suck some serious ass (Mr. Elgar, I am so, so sorry). But that's fine, or at least it was last night, because some of us were more drunk than others. Heh.
I am seriously craving a McGr1ddle. Should I forego my normal Sunday newspaper purchase for said delicacy? Granted this would prevent me from accessing the Bible, Weekly Edition (TV Guide), and thus not being acquainted with my Daily Bible Verse (what's on TV), but McGr1ddles are seriously that good. And I don't know why. It's weird. It's all weird. Like this diary entry. So maybe the weirdness should stop and I should go read some ethnomusicology. Bleh.
