I'm standing there straightening some shoes or whatever, and this little old lady comes up to me and says: "Where are the thongs you had advertised in the paper?"

So, naturally I walk over to the nearest table of underwear.

"No, the shoes! What do you kids call them? Flip-flops?"

"Oh! Shoes! Right here!"

Of course then my face turned beet red and the other Shoe Girl started laughing. Naturally half the store now knows of my incident with the little old lady with the thongs now. I admit though, it was quite amusing. Luckily the little old lady was quite good-natured about it, and did not mind all our laughing at my stupidity.

And that is my story. I bought not one, but two pairs of white Skechers sneakers today. I'm turning into a shoe freak. I need serious help.

Dammit, I am no longer in a sufficiently mopey mood to make my Mopey April tape. Happy April tapes just aren't as fun.

Oh well. Off to go do... nothing. Have a lovely evening? afternoon? whatever. Stupid daylight savings time. :-P
