2006-08-23 - 2:27 p.m. Well guess what. I decided to start the permitiversary celebration a day early, so I moseyed on down to the DMV this morning. Beforehand I was panicking a little bit because I couldn't remember (from the last time I renewed the damn permit, natch :-P) if you had to show your social security card or anything, and of course I couldn't find my card. Lo and behold, you don't need to show your SS card. I passed the freaking written test and I even splurged on a new picture. :-P :-P All that is well and good, but I definitely cannot find my social security card. :-P This is the second one I've lost. Normal people lose their college IDs 1248754 times, but no. I lose something important. I'm sure someone claiming to be Mangofarmer is living a life of luxury in sunny North Dakota right now. Dammit. Well I should return to ransacking my room. Have a lovely day everyone.
