"Band standards" today in wind ensemble. HAHAHAHAHAHA. First AND Second Suite by Holst, and Lincolnshire Goddamn Overrated Stupid Posy. Yes, I hate Grainger. He is not my favorite dead Australian composer. I need to find a favorite dead Australian composer. Maybe. Conducting symposiums sound like incredibly boring things. Maybe I should demote myself to concert band in the spring in order to skip it. But then I wouldn't get to play Second Suite, the best band piece of all time!

Ah yes. A day in the life of a band geek.

My throat feels strange. I better not be getting sick. I made it this far in the semester.... Grrr.

My dad actually called me last night. It was amazing. I told him about my Ukrainian folk songs paper. He actually seemed interested. And then we talked money.

Sarah: "So, do you want to maybe send me some money?"

Sarah's Dad: "Not really."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. :) I canoodled $200 out of him. It will help. Stupid phone bill. Although, I thought if I were going to pay only one extraneous, non-rent bill, it should be that. Maybe.
