Grainger is certainly not the obvious choice. Do you know how psycho he was ? ? ? I know, I know, we should have sympathy for people who are fucked up, but really... I read his bio in third year and have been sickened by his mention ever since. Not to mention the fact that his music fucking sucks. Congrats on the two hundred! :)

I hate asking my parents for money. They always manage to bring up all kinds of things that I owe THEM money for... so I wind up with less than what I started with!

Oh, come now... You seem to be mistaken. Grainger may have been not all there - but he had NOTHING on Holst (not to mention he could always fall back on the excuse of being Australian). Holst on the other hand was extreemly bi-polar, and English. Not to mention that the Suite in Eb is the symbol of everything which is bad in music. Lincolnshire Posy is one of those fun pieces which you don't get to play that often. I still get chills when I do get to play it. Holst... wait for it... wait for it... OVERPLAYED BEYOND COMPARISON.

Wait a minute.... let me think about that one..... no. Any piece with a piccolo solo at the end has greatness written all over it. Grainger in general makes me want to die!!!!!!

Any piece with a piccolo solo at the end makes me want to catch my genitals in a sliding glass door. I've never felt the need to perform self mutilation during Grainger.

Ah, well perhaps you should. Grainger = dumb. Holst = good.
