1. Would you say that you're good at keeping in touch with people?

That depends. By e-mail usually, snail mail sometimes, and the phone, never! There's only about four people I can comfortably call on the phone without get extremely nervous for no reason.

2. Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person? Why?

Al Gore invented the internet for a reason: that I might reap the benefits of e-mail and IM. ;) Like I said, the phone makes me nervous.

3. Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it?

I have AIM. I use it daily, probably to the annoyance of some people. :-/

4. Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away?

If close by means in the same town, or county, then no, they're all too far away right now. :( P>

5. Are you an "out of sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance makes the heart grow fonder"?

Distance makes the heart grow fonder, at least for me. When I'm out of sight for most people, well, I'm usually out of their minds as well.
