w00t. Back in Gradschoolville!

I had my band audition this afternoon. I owned it a thousand times over. Well, except for the orchestral audition excerpt. For the life of me I will never, ever be able to play the William Tell Overture. Jeebus. That's not reeeeally a terribly hard flute excerpt as these things go either. Oh well. My only goal in life is to consistently play Symphonic Metamorphosis perfectly. I loves me some Hindemith.

Other Flute Graduate Student and Clarinet Graduate Student were hanging around by the band room before my audition. We were comparing how much money we each have until the 20th (a.k.a. Super Happy Excess Financial Aid Distribution Fun Day). CGS has an even $20, I have a measley $15 in my checking account, and OFGS is the winner with $5. Ah, graduate school. Good times.

Hmmm. Time to find me a jobby job around campus maybe.

Have a lovely evening everyone! :)
