Random memory of the day. 2004-01-04 - 1:17 p.m.
I just made an exceptionally stupid new survey. Click the link for mangoshake there at the bottom. Oh, the boredom and stupidity.
So you know what? I've discovered I have nothing to play for my seating auditions next week. I do not want to resurrect the Taktakishvili. Perhaps its time to bust out the old Symphonic Metamorphosis excerpt? Gotta love Hindemith.
Is it time to go back to Gradschoolville yet? Bleh.

On the last day of school in eleventh grade, my French teacher walked around the room and looked at each of us in turn. To three people she gave some sort of prediction about the future.
To a boy known for his good cooking she said: "You are going to be a famous chef."
To a very artistic girl with a vivacious personality she said: "I expect to see your name in lights."
And, finally, to me she said: "I expect great things from you."
She didn't know I was on the road to becoming a penniless musician, eh? ;)
