I did have a good flute lesson today with Dr. Flute Teacher. I played a little bit of the third movement (the fun one) of the Taktakishvili today. Why can't I play that for my jury? Anyway, she did like the idea of a Mozart flute quartet as a chamber piece for my recital. Now all I need is three or four solo pieces and I'll be set. :-P

Flute Student's mom called me today to switch her lesson time. She also told me how Flute Student's seating audition (or something- I have no idea how this state works) went. I guess it went well- supposedly Flute Student was happy anyway. Gee. Now I'm all proud and stuff.

Oh. Like I said yesterday, I did take the bus to the mall. The buses here are surprisingly nice. Nicer than in Bumblefuck. I was impressed. Anyway, I bought new boots from Sizz-ears, because I had a coupon and I desperately needed black shoes. I like my boots. They're purty.
