Now I know my ABCs, next time won't Mangofarmer come play with me. 2003-06-03 - 11:11 p.m.
I'm bored and sleepy. Work was boring and sleep-inducing today. Hence my current state of boredom and sleepiness. Yes.
Therefore, I have a little something to copy off of skibigsky. Just, you know, something I can pass off as an entry. Because I'm bored. And also sleepy. But I think we established that.
The ABCs of Mangofarmer :)
A) Apple pie must be served a la mode. Really now, if the expression goes "as American as apple pie", then wouldn't the American way be to tack on as many extra calories as possible? Bring on the ice cream, people.
B) Bugs of all kinds strike fear into my very soul, whether they are of the six-legged variety or of the Volkswagon persuasion.
C) Cute little booger, aren't I? ;)
D) Dammit, get your own damn shoes!
E) Egg salad sandwiches can be lethal if not used correctly.
F) "Freude schoner gotterfunken, tochter aus Elysium...."
G) Green bridges, coming from either direction, mean we're almost to grandma's house!
H) Hot and spicy, that's the way I like it. Mmmmhmmm.
I) Iambic pentameter annoys the crap out of me. Shakespeare, you suck.
J) June, the calendar says. But the weather says early April. :-P
K) Kentucky is a place I have only been to once.
L) 'Loser' is a word I will use to refer to myself. Often.
M) Madonna's "Like a Prayer" is the song of the moment.
N) Naivete is my speciality.
O) Opera confuses me sometimes. But I bet not as much as it confuses you *maniacal music geek laughter*.
P) Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here" makes so much sense to me. Too much sense, maybe.
Q) Q-tips are good to use to clean the gunk out from between the springs and keys on my flute.
R) Red roses are so, so pretty. *sigh*
S) Sara(h) looks better spelled with an 'h'.
T) Tuba is a funny instrument. I have had one tuba lesson in my life and it was unsuccessful.
U) Uny (pronounced 'Yoo-nee') is the name of this stuffed unicorn I got when I was about three. Uny is still sitting on a shelf in my room.
V) 'Vache' means 'cow' in French. I think.
W) We really know..... HOW TO BLOW!!!!
X) Xylophone players are scary sometimes. But not as scary as marimba players who play marimba out in the middle of the hallway and glare at poor innocent flute players who are walking by, meekly trying to get to a graduate audition.
Y) Yams are different from sweet potatoes but I forgot the exact difference so I can't tell you.
Z) Zora Neale Hurston wrote my second least favorite AP English selection- "Their Eyes Were Watching God". Least favorite? Dickens' "Hard Times". Dickens, you suck. Almost as much as Shakespeare.
