Hmmmmm. Some things:
-Werk was very Monday-ish today. It was unusually busy this morning, which annoyed me, because it was damn beautiful outside and people kept reminding me of this and I just wanted to slap them repeatedly and say "Well what the hell are you doing in here buying shoes, you dope?" And then, the fun point of the afternoon was when a very annoying lady called one of the salesfloor ladies and started yelling at her because she didn't get her shoes that were supposedly shipped from another store. So, I was left to call 791827391823 stores looking for the right pair of shoes, which were located in Niagara Falls.
-The fact that they were located in Niagara Falls doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot. I just felt like including that fact. I think the next time I go to Niagara Falls (Canada, I mean now) I definitely need to visit the casino. Also, I need to find some more of that toffee that is impossible to chew. And some ketchup potato chips. Canadians are fun.
-Anyway, if this lady ever decides to show up at the store and yell at people, it will naturally be the day I'm working again, which, not counting stock day on Thursday, will be on Friday. Because that is just the kind of luck I have. Ah, the joys of retail. What can I say though? I put the damn shoes on hold for her. It is hard to do these things for people I am not looking at, or even talking to on the phone. And goddammit, I hate talking on the phone to people I don't know. My phony Sizz-ears phone voice bothers me.
-On the way to werk on Saturday, a groundhog ran across the road. That's two groundhog sightings in one week. What does this mean? Why are there groundhogs in the middle of the city? I am confused by this.
-White chocolate Reese's peanut butter cups are just wrong. I love white chocolate. I love peanut butter, preferably in chunky form, of course. But together? No.
-My cat has fleas. These fleas like to bite me. I do not like these fleas. Perhaps out of the kindness of her heart, a certain Sister Jenn of the lovely red granny car will partake myself and my poor, flea-infested cat to the vet. Please please please? I'll be your best friend! :-D
-"About a Boy" is very good so far. It's not often that a book makes me laugh out loud. But Nick Hornby's have that power over me.
Hmmm. Maybe I had more to say, but it is time to go watch American Idol now. :) Adieu, mes cheries.
