"Sara(h), Sara(h), storms are brewing in your eyes!" 2003-04-14 - 6:31 p.m.
Oh dear. So this afternoon I went to a music store with the intention of buying one CD. Green Day's "Dookie", as my original copy was on tape and I haven't seen it for a while and I've had a Green Day craving. Instead, I walk out of the music store carrying this CD and three others: selections from Mozart's "Don Giovanni", a Debussy double CD, mostly of piano preludes and also "Syrinx" for solo flute (both of those were used and therefore cheap!), and a best of Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship. You know, everything from "White Rabbit" to my all-time favorite 80s song, "Sara".
To assuage my guilt at this reckless spending, I immediately headed over to Burger King for a delectably greasy junior Whopper extra value meal (again, another craving).
It is sooooooo nice out. And it will be even nicer tomorrow. I have to work for four stupid hours in the afternoon, but I think I can deal.
Oh, here are some google hits of the day:
-"devil went down to Charlotte"- Did Georgia get too dull for him? Perhaps Charlie Daniels wrote a new song that I don't know about.
-"guster playlist"- Interesting. I only have one Guster song on my happy playlist, and it's a Madonna cover. Interesting.
-"mad playlist"- Um, ok.
-"google hits"- Okay....
-"Bundy flute"- Oh yes, my sweet little ancient Bundy. What a loveable hand-me-down hunk of junk that was.
