"What song is it you wanna hear?" "FREE BIRD!" 2003-03-12 - 6:17 p.m.
Awwwww yeah. My CDs came. What's the first one I'm listening to right now?
Lynyrd Skynyrd's Greatest Hits.
Let me rephrase my earlier statement:
Awwwwwwwwwwwww yeaaaaah.
Hee! I am in sort of a ridiculously good mood. Of course, this was because I went up to campus today and hung out with a certain Julia-dork who did not go home for spring break. The dork. Anyway, it was absolutely beautiful out- the sky was grey, the mud had reached that nice state of congealed goo, and the wind was not bearing down at the usual hurricane force gale prevalent up on the hill. It was nice. I got two copies of my transcript and ordered CDs from the orchestra concerts two years ago. That was the year I was in it, of course. The good year. At least, I hope it is still possible to get copies of CDs from concerts that long ago... Anyways, it was good good good to be back up there. I didn't find any decent alunmi shirts, but I did pick up a lacrosse shirt. I also picked up a lax schedule. Such a travesty that I never attended a single lax game. Such a travesty. The lax team, those sexy bastards, used to practice right before the marching band did. One time, I found a ball that they had left and started rolling it around. At the time, I took it as a sign that soon I was going to find the lax player connected to the lax ball.
I am still waiting for that to happen. :-P
"Ooooh that smell. The smell of death surrounds you!"
Sorry about that. I think some people get annoyed by Skynyrd. ;)
Anyway, um, yeah. My password still works to use the campus computers. This I found amusing.
That is about it. I had a very enjoyable day. Well worth leaving Shoetopia to the crazy old lady who doesn't know how to work in shoes. I'll only feel guilty about it if she fell off the ladder. Which she probably did. Uh oh.
