Well, in the spirit of goofy holidays everywhere, I would like to say Happy Groundhog Day.

Anyway, I need to go read "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall". Still not finished. I have so much to read, and so much time on my hands! Ha. Maybe after that I'll go read "On the Road". I've never read any Kerouac. Of course, I've never read lots of things. I always had this misconception that one is supposed to read books in college. Not really. At least, not music majors anyway. The only non-textbooks I read in school were in my Medieval and Renaissance History class. That was a great class. The professor dressed up in a monk's robe and walked around the class reciting one of Abelard's big speeches (no I don't remember which one- it's enough I remember who Abelard is!). Anyway, all we read was "The Romance of Tristan", "The Song of Roland", "The Decameron", "Mandragola", and "The Prince". Machiavelli = big blowhard and "The Decameron" = medieval porn, just in case you're wondering.

Yes. I'm a geek. Yes I am. Anyway, I'm off to stick my nose in a book.
