some notes of certain uselessness 2003-01-15 - 12:18 p.m.
Ok. Some things.
-I finished "Watership Down". Yes, ghostfox, it was very good and I did love it.
-Last night, in my forced absence from the computer, I watched "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner", with Tracy, Hepburn, and Poitier. Great people. Great movie.
-I wasn't supposed to be on the computer yesterday because my aunt was having her surgery, and the phone lines needed to be clear (thank you mangoprawns and Andrew for your concern, and thanks Andrew for your excellent usage of the words of the day yesterday :) ). The tumor was malignant, but they removed it all except for one tiny bit, after a whopping 13 hours. She should be fine. I was actually watching basketball (yes, I did say basketball)- Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt. I thought maybe if Vanderbilt won, everything would be okay. I couldn't stand more than ten minutes of it before I switched to the movie. But they were leading at halftime.
-My sister stayed home from school today. Because she's "sick". Yeeeeaahh. I can spot a faker 6876234871723817 miles away. She is a faker.
-I'm pretty hungry now. So I'm going to go. Have a lovely afternoon.
