-Yesterday I sat around and did a whole lot of nothing other than read The Dark is Rising, until Flute Student #3's lesson. Flute Student #3 conveniently forgot both her lesson book and her check. This does not make for a happy Mangofarmer.

-This morning I got my excess financial aid check. Ah, money. Bliss. I celebrated by stopping at the crappy dollar store of all fast food joints- Krystal. I for one am a Spicy Chik. Yes.

-I met with the music history professor and we talked about my assistantshipness and such. I get to attend the lovely undergraduate history class at 8 AM tomorrow. I am most certainly overjoyed. Or not. But who cares? I am now on the university payroll. -And- the professor said that sometimes, when she is out of town, I will get to show videos to the class. Isn't that exciting? Now, if it were filmstrips she wanted me to show, it might just feel like seventh grade again. Hehe.

-Music History Professor did her undergrad not too far from Bumblefuck. She plays the flute. We actually share an old flute teacher (me from my pre-Bitchy McEvil days). Isn't that funny?

-I think a trip to the mall is definitely in order for the weekend. :)

That is all. I have Flute Student's lesson here in a little while. She won't forget her music or check. Flute Student = my favorite student, hehe. She also got a new piccolo for Christmas. That is craziness. Flute Student is a HS sophomore and I did not own a piccolo till senior year of college... eh, we won't get into that now.
