2003-10-03 - 2:43 p.m. Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy. We got new wind ensemble music today. And it's scary. So very, very scary. Who'd 'a thunk a piece by Karel Husa would be the least scariest on the program. I mean really! Anyway, I hope Dr. Band Director is in a better mood next week. Maybe he'll be sympathetic to *ahem* the second piccoloist on the scary scary piece. Uh, I mean, I get to play piccolo! Woohoo! Heh. I've been having a lot of "I miss (marching) band" moments lately. I've been assured that if I really wanted to, they would let me do marching band, but a grad student marching? Really??? I dunno... things that work in Bumblefuck don't necessarily work in Gradschoolville. And besides, I'm too damn old. I'd fall and break a hip or something. ;) Hmmmm. I was going to say something else. Maybe. Oh well. I guess I should go do work or *shiver* practice or something. Yeah. Happy Friday all. :)
