Speaking as one who has dedicated her life to being broke and overeducated, I'm all in favor of it. (And yeah, it would be a little creepy if the middle school kids were tipping you with Scotch...!)

Man, I was just thinking about how fun your life has become since you quit Sizz-ears and went to Gradschoolville. Go You! The only thing, though, is that I'm a mite distressed about your hatred of 95% of Brahms. Now, I hear you on some of the unadulterated sap, but 95 seems a trifle high. What about the piano music? Op. 116? 118? Anyone? Anyone? Only some of the best music EVER WRITTEN. *tear*

I'm in Bumblefuck again! Anyway, I don't much like Brahms either - except I agree with Dr. J up there on the piano music. Brahms could compose for piano.

O no Mangofarmer please do not say bad things about Gustav Mahler, that lovely man! Dr. J defends Brahams well enough above. But Mahler - the first movement of the unfinished tenth is like every romantic movie ever made rolled into one piece of music, then capped off with a death scene just for good measure! Hurrahler for Mahler!

The wind ensemble played a piece by Grainger tonight. And another one arranged by Grainger. Hahaha. Funny.
