Hmm. I think it would be most practical not to fly back to play for the wedding. You have enough on your mind already with grad school. And if you can find them a replacement, that's grand. If not, you're not the only musician supposed to play it, right? They can find their own replacement or do without. I think you should concentrate on your own priorities, your plate is full enough already, and make sure you get to grad school. Don't let anything deter you from your dreams.

Are they paying you for this wedding thing? I think it'd be supremely inconvenient. And by the way - you need to stop freaking out right this instant, missy! You're headed down to grad school, whcih will be fun. You're not working at Sears any more, which will also be fun. You freakin' rock at playing the flute and you're only going to get better and then someday score a spot in some uberfamous symphony. AND -- AND! (and i've said this before) you are probably one of the coolest and most interesting people i've ever stumbled across. If you're having money troubles in Florida, I bet half of diaryland would band together to help pay the bills :)

Who said anything about Florida? ;) Wait a minute, can I go there instead??? There has to be some kind of major mental health facility in the great city of Miami! There has to be!!
