I cry when i see babies wearing those little mini-Timberland boots that some parents try to make their four-month old children wear. Something about the degradation of modern society, or something.

Ewww, that's horrid. And I thought baby Nike sneakers were bad...

*freaks out* Oh my gosh, it's come: it's AUGUST! *calms down and scampers away*

That whole adult thing really sort of sucks. It dawned on me when I was refinancing my car, and figuring out how to divide up the money in my retirement plan, that I somehow (unwillingly) had become an adult. In an attempt to counter the whole Being An Adult thing, I eat chocolate chips right out of the bag - it eases the pain somewhat, and convinces me that there is SOME advantage to being an adult...

I was feeling sorry for you until you mentioned that it was August. I have quickly begun to feel sorry for myself. Sorry, no room in my self-absorbed, all-consuming self-pity for a little Mangofarmer! You'll be fine anyway, right? he he he.

I cried twice, maybe three times today. But my credit card has leopard print on it. And the old one sparkled. Not the new one. They totally screwed me on THAT one.
