I did a load of laundry and hung it on the clothesline outside. I'm sure it's probably dry already. :-P

I finished reading a book of poetry by W.H. Auden.

I cooked and consumed an egg and two pieces of sausage.

I poured myself a lovely glass of iced vanilla chai.

I'm currently writing a diary entry. Amazing.

Not amazing were all the strange noises I heard in my room (or the ceiling?) last night. I figured it was one of three things: A) a bat B) a rat or C) a cat. Actually I decided it wasn't a cat when I realized that the only resident cat was currently sleeping on my head, despite a room temperature hovering around 80 degrees or so. So apparently something creepy lives in my ceiling. Great. Just great.
