I love the Bill. 2005-09-25 - 1:54 p.m.
Oh yes, it's that time again: annoying entry about a dream time!
Woohoo!
So last night I dreamt that a major to-do was happening in my backyard, and I was watching all of it from my window (on the first floor). Dubya was lounging in a pine tree directing a bunch of workers in a cherry picker (I have no idea what they were doing). John Kerry was walking around in a suit and tie looking very important.
After a while I got bored with all this and went off to watch TV or something. Then, two of the flute players from Gradschoolville appeared and told me someone was at the window to see me. Lo and behold, it was Bill Clinton! I shook his hand, and said "It's an honor to meet you, Mr. President!"
Bill invited me outside to go talk, so I hopped through the window to join him. Somehow he knew about me unsuccessfully applying to schools for doctorates in (ethno)musicology. He was sympathetic, and said "I have not ever taught musicology, but I do know a lot about high school marching band."
Then Bill had to leave, so he gave me a hug and wished me luck.
Hehe! I do loves me some Bill Clinton.
That is all. Today I'm going to try and wade through the stack of magazines that have been accumulating all summer. Fun.
