Ooooooh baby, randomize me!

More genealogical geekiness.
2005-05-05 - 12:12 a.m.

Regarding my guestbook note from Anonymous Guy, I actually find most of my info from rootsweb. It's pretty cool, and it's free. Although I suspect that one of these days I will go complete genealogy dork and pay for genealogy.com or ancestry.com or whatever. If I don't use rootsweb and I know exactly who I'm looking for, there's always the good old google search. That's how I found this one website with this gigundous family tree and I saw that, wow, I am actually definitely related to these people. Cool.

As to yesterday's entry, I lied about Abe Lincoln. He is actually my fifth cousin seven generations removed. That is, if the sources can be believed, which is not so likely. BUT, I was looking more closely at the same family, and it appears that Queen Elizabeth I of England (through her poor headless mother, Anne Boleyn), is my third cousin fourteen generations removed. HAHAHAHA. I guess that means if I had lived during that time period I'd probably have been sent to the Tower. Yay.

/geekiness

skibigsky, you mean people can actually call me "Master" now? Wow!

Yep, that's right. Friday is graduation. May 15 I'm leaving. Getmethehellouttahere! Home and some crappy retail job awaits! Well, first, the mother's house in Hickville awaits. But then, home!

That's all for now. I actually tried to write about this earlier, but I got one of those "the servers are busy" messages. Damn. I was SupaGold for so long, I'd forgotten about that.

Goodnight all. :)
