2005-01-07 - 11:37 a.m. Oh man, I have to give the Sketchtacular Travel Award to Greyh0und. I have no problems taking the bus in the city, for short distances, see, but I have never experienced quite as diverse an array of ex-cons and general scuzzballs as I did traveling from Hickville to Gradschoolville for four glorious hours. Hoo boy. Especially nice was the guy who kept turning around and staring at me for the better part of an hour. He may have whispered, "Hey you, girl", but I'm not sure, as I was very busy ignoring him. Wheeeee! But, the good news is, I'm back. I have a pile of books to read (Umberto Eco, anyone?) and a great deal of flute practicing to do. Yay. Happy Friday, everyone. :)
