-The music library is hiring. Perhaps I want to work here?

-Dr. Music History Professor needs a grading assistant again. Of course I accepted!

-I did not get principal of wind ensemble. I did not expect to. The orchestra list is alphabetical, meaning the seating won't be known until tomorrow. Dammit.

-There was a flute shindig last night. One of the little freshmen said "Oh, you're from (some state)? Wow!" Later on she asked me if I was engaged. Wow....

-Flute Student #3's father called me last night, saying that she wants lessons again. This surprises me. Does she want lessons, or does her father want her to have lessons? Hmmm. How much do you want to bet she hasn't picked up a flute since May? Yeah.

Well, I'm going to go figure out when this history class meets that I'm going to be grading for. Or something. Maybe I'll practice too. Maybe.
