So. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. My mom and sister are coming over tonight, and tomorrow they are whisking me away to Hickville until Sunday. I'm actually travelling somewhere for Turkey Day. Weird. I never understood why Thanksgiving is such a big deal for people, in terms of major family gatherings and the like. Even with both my parents living in the same place, we never went anywhere- both of them, especially my mom, the retail maven, always had to work both the day before and the day after. For me, Thanksgiving is just another day, except a day during which you sit around and eat and watch dumb parades and the same old movies every year. Which is fine, because that means the cheek-pinching old relatives are mercifully usually only seen on Christmas. :)

So the point is, in case I don't get to say so tomorrow, Happy Turkey Day everyone! :)

In other news, there isn't much other news. The library is deserted, and I'm about to do some dumbass music bibliography homework because I'm all conscientious like that. Or something. But right now I'm talking to Jenn-of-the-granny-car, who of course has to work at Sizz-ears tonight, and at the crack of dawn on Black Friday. HAHAHAHAHA. Even I didn't have to work at the crack of dawn last year. I was there 12-9 folding the same damn sweaters over and over.... I'd link to that entry, but I'm way too lazy. There's nothing like the rapidly approaching holiday season to make you reminiscent of your time in retail Detroit. Or something.

Have a lovely evening all! :)
