2003-11-13 - 12:31 p.m. I got downsized/cut/chucked out from the opera pit! Wooooooooooooooooo. Unfortunately I learned this right before the actual rehearsal when I didn't have a ride back to campus from the theater so I had to stay until the end of the dress rehearsal. Meaning I had to watch the opera. But it is a good opera. And it doesn't have to consume my life all weekend! I can do useful things like watch football and sit around and not write my ethnomusicology paper! (Who wants to write it for me? dfirefly, you know you do. Mmmm, Ukrainian folk songs.) So yeah. Is it December yet? I'll have one more new student this afternoon at the middle school. Maybe Flute Student #4 will be better than Flute Student #3. Maybe. Poor Flute Student #3. Nice kid, but the operative word is sullen. Sullen is a nice word. Almost as nice as cocks. The Lola also likes cocks. Cocks cocks cocks. Have a good afternoon all. I'm off to go clone myself or run away to Mexico or something. Yup. You aren't supposed to drink the water in Mexico. Which is why you drink the booze. Amen. :)
