"Cold" weather and CRUNCHY peanut butter and the like 2003-10-23 - 12:32 p.m.
So. Off to the middle school this afternoon, for flute lessons a la the School of Mango. Oh yes. It's too bad I only have one student (I think). Why is it too bad? Well, mostly because of money. Yes, that's it.
For some reason unbeknownst to me, I am suddenly craving PB & J. But PB & J doesn't work so well with delicious CRUNCHY peanut butter and refrigerator bread- you know, the kind that you stick in your fridge to prevent it from becoming mushy, but then it just gets to a certain nebulous point past the "sell by" date that the mushiness is unavoidable. Perhaps I will have CRUNCHY peanut butter and nutella on saltines. That might be good. I must be suffering from a CRUNCHY peanut butter deficiency.
Dr. Band Director said something today along the lines of "If you're manicly depressed 95% of the time, like in this movement, play this bar like you're not depressed just for a minute." Now I feel somewhat bad for him. Maybe he is psycho for a good reason.
Nice Oboe Player said it was cold outside this morning. I had to laugh at him. Silly Gradschoolvillians- not to know what it's like to go trick-or-treating in the snow..... Ah, that takes me back. Speaking of Halloween, I wonder if they've started playing Xmas muzak in Sizz-ears yet. Hehe. :)
Anywho, off to maybe go find some CRUNCHY peanut butter or practice or mentally ready myself for the trauma of scary middle schoolers. Yup. Have a lovely day all. :)
