Thanks to poolagirl for the very nice note. Unfounded, maybe, but nice. Hee. :)

This afternoon I went to the review thingamabob for the music theory entrance test on Monday. Hoo boy. That's all I have to say about that. With the few pages of history notes I've looked at, and also looking at the practice test, I still feel better about the history exam, impossible as it may or may not be. So, we shall just see, n'est ce-pas? Maybe all that shoe-selling experience of the past year will have had some kind of beneficial effect on my subconscious, causing me to remember wotthehell a German augmented sixth chord is.

Hahahahahahahaha.

So, things in a nutshell:

-No cable (till Wednesday) and most especially no internet make Sarah a dull girl. When Sarah gets dull, this causes her to actually *gasp* practice. Or something. Ewww.

-At the review thingie, the professor asked for a show of hands of people from the various major areas. There are an abnormally large number of voice majors. You'd think you go to a school with a big ass band program and you'd get away from that. Oh well.

-Somebody find me a nice easy job. Something that involves sitting at a desk and swiping IDs or something like that.

-The indoor vs. outdoor temperature discrepancy is starting to bother me. I get to wear shorts, finally, and yet whenever I go into a building, I get cold. Stupid stupid A/C. The bane of my existence.

That's about it. I should just sit around here for a while, as I'd have nothing else to do but study or practice if I went back to my place, but I'm rather hungry. Also, another nutshell type thing:

-There are too many goddamn places to eat here. In Bumblefuck, you had your pizza joints, your sleazy, frat boy-infested bars, your Chinese places, and your sandwich shops. Here, from what I gather, there is all that and so much more. And there's even nice bars. And clubs. And every kind of fast food.

-I feel like an ant. With a frog in it's throat. Damn A/C. Tomorrow morning I'm going to wake up at home home and get ready for werk just like usual. Things are just exceedingly weird. But maybe this is a good weird.

That's all. Have a lovely afternoon everyone. :)
