Boring Mondayisms
2003-06-09 - 7:25 p.m.

Well, "me me me" seems to think that I'm not boring. That's very sweet. :) Tell me though, just which store in the mally-mall has an "intelligent sense of humor department"? Because I do work Saturday 4-9 and I would like to research this. I don't think Sears has such a thing in stock. Our store probably got rid of it with the paint, and with the "dress shoes with the buckle in extra wide", the lack of which was the reason that one customer today told me that Sears is "going to hell in a handbasket".

Some information is just good to know.

Anyway, thanks "me me me". I hope you enjoyed your nap. :)

So, yeah. I took paper out of shoe boxes all day. Let me tell you, this is harder than it sounds. Shoe boxes do not like to be thusly operated on. Therefore, they like to slice my arms up quite nicely. Ow.

Not one but two people asked me today if we carry soccer shoes. Um, no, people. Just no. This is Sears. So I always refer them to the sports store downtown. Dumbasses. Now speaking of cleats, I wonder what the heck I did with mine... Hopefully I gave them to someone who could use them. Alas, my soccer days were short-lived. And looooooong past. Yes.

I started the great Harry Potter reread with the second book this morning. Cheating, I know, but I watched the first movie recently. Yeah. Mmmmmm, geekishness.

That's about it. I'm going to go eat pizza and listen to Simon and Garfunkel. I'm telling you, "The Concert in Central Park". Go buy it. Buy it now.

Au revoir pour maintenant, mes petits enfants. :)
