Anywho, werk of course was absolutely pointless today. It was stock day, yet only one box of shoes came in. Containing a whopping one pair of shoes. So after this monumental task was complete, I wandered around on the salesfloor putting stuff away. There was plenty do do, but there was plenty of people to do it anyway. So I left at three when Junior Manager Girl told me I could leave when I got there. I was beginning to get the feeling she might rescind this magical offer, when she kept finding more stuff to do. And you know what I would have said? Hahahahahaha, well..... ;)

I've been wondering if I should ditch Sears and go back to the little grocery store for the summer. They would pay me more and give me regular hours. Of course, by the end of last summer I was completely insane. Gah. Flute player for hire! :-P

Full-time Shoe Girl and I are heading out to another mall tomorrow after werk in the afternoon. I know, as if going to a mall should be something for a retail schmuck to look forward to, but this isn't even the mall in Bumblefuck. An entirely different mall in an entirely different place! Oh the excitement. Hehe of course we might go harass the poor Shoetopians in the Sears down there. Maybe. :)

I don't know how I managed it, but I don't have to work on Memorial Day! Woohoo! Although, I have to work on Sunday... again! What is it about scheduling me on Sundays lately. Yeesh. But I guess I shouldn't complain. I celebrated last Memorial Day by going to the parade, watching lacrosse, and cozying up to a six-pack of Smirnoff Ice.

Yes. I hate that stuff now.
