Aww. Today in Shoetopia there was this little old couple. The wife was trying on sneakers, and she couldn't get the lace through the top hole. So her husband helped her. Then he tied the shoes for her. Awww. I want that. Not right now of course. But in the future. I would like to know that there might be someone out there who would be willing to tie my shoes for me when I'm old.
Speaking of Shoetopia, I told Manager Girl that I would officially like to stick around. Hey, it beats granny panties and George Foreman grills. And even PANTS.
I took good old Jane Austen back to the library today. It was not a sad parting on my part. Surely I have better things to read.
I'm listening to my new marching CD again. God/Buddha/Allah/Mother Nature/Bill Clinton/R2D2/Ben & Jerry help me. But really now. You have not heard the music from the older (classic) "James Bond" movies until you have heard it performed by a college marching band.
Perhaps I need help. Or at least a strawberry daquiri. Eh, it doesn't look like there's any chance I'll be receiving either in the near future. Oh well. Off to bask in band geekishness with my groovy Fresca. Awwww yeah.
