Someone at Lehigh University finds this page really interesting. I wonder why. Well, thank you for reading.

***********

I was this close to getting some old lady to apply for a Sears card today. This close. But obviously my powers of persuasion are completely non-existent.

You know, it bothers me that I care about getting people to sign up for Sears cards. I mean, ten bucks is ten bucks, but still. My life is so full of meaning.

Anyway, I'm headed off to a performance of Handel's "Messiah" with two or three combined choirs and an actual Baroque orchestra. This should be interesting. If I remember correctly from four semesters of much-forgotten music history, Handel either didn't score "The Messiah" for a gigantic choir or more likely did not have the performers on hand anyway. Whichever the case, I remember the professor distinctly saying that for a choir the size of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to perform the piece, really goes against Handel's original intent.

Now that I've put you all to sleep with this unwanted music history lesson, I will depart and do other things. Like finish my vanilla Coke especially.
