2002-11-29 - 9:15 a.m. This is it folks. Black Friday. While most people I know will be at home today sleeping off the effects of too much food (or drink), I am stuck in the bowels of retail hell from 12-9. Ugh. Believe me, I really would have rather had gone in at 6am. Because no one is really going to be shopping at that time in this town. Stupid Sears. But I'm going to be stuck there during the busiest part of the day dealing with all the crazy old ladies and cleaning up their messes. Folding the same sweaters over and over and being asked where the non-mechanized can openers are. And a nine hour shift. How convenient. I find it amusing that before they changed the schedule to reflect my actual availability tomorrow, they had me 12-9 today and 7-4 tomorrow. That is wrong on so many levels. Well anyway, wish me luck. I'm gonna need it. :-P
