Well, I just went to the library and got a pile of books to try and combat my progressive state of brain rot. Here they are:
-"Good Bones and Simple Murders" by Margaret Atwood. I read "The Handmaid's Tale" a few years ago and that was quite good, and this just caught my eye because I was looking in the 'A's for
-"Pride and Prejudice". Never really got into Austen. But Psianina says it was good, so there you go. ;)
-"The Shelters of Stone" by Jean M. Auel. I have said this before: gotta love caveman porn!
-"Painfully Shy: How to Overcome Social Anxiety and Reclaim Your Life" by Barbara Markway and Gregory Markway. HA. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
-"When we were Gods: A Novel of Cleopatra" by Colin Falconer. This was on the table of new books, and it just looked interesting.
-"Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" by Douglas Adams. I was looking for "Hitchhiker's Guide" but this was the only one they had. I've never read any of his stuff. I wanted to see what all the fuss is about, and/or what the hell the number 42 is supposed to mean.
So I guess I'm going to go read and chill before I have to get ready for work. And practice! I WILL actually practice flute this afternoon. Try and stop me.
