"So hard to find my way, now that I'm all on my own." 2002-11-04 - 11:11 a.m.
Hmmm. I guess I'm evil for trying to provoke random guestbook signage (see last entry for this description of my evilness). Evil and so, so bored!
*sobs*
Just kidding. I guess I'll try to think of something useful to write.
-I don't have to work again till Thursday. That's pretty stupid. So bored Sarah, becomes literally poor, bored Sarah.
-I had a really good hour of practicing flute last night. I guess since I don't work till Thursday, I'll have plenty of time to get back into it this week. I really need to. It's disgusting. My tone eventually came back by the end of my hour, but my fingers are still loogy. They don't want to move as fast as they did! I don't blame them.
-I downloaded The Dixie Chicks' "Cowboy take me away". Yes. I need help. Serious help. I may have numerous hillbilly-type relatives but I personally believe country music is the muzak they play in the eternal dentist's office waiting room that is hell. But this is just an opinion.
-On that note, while I do despise country music, I find some fascination with bluegrass. I don't know why. I really like the "O Brother, Where art thou?" soundtrack.
-They're putting in a new bookstore/cafe down the street from my favorite Eckerd. This is exciting. As if I need more books I'll never read, but hey, I could be spending my money on crack or something instead.
-I want a DVD/VCR player, since my VCR really is officially dead. Sears discount anyone? And cute electronics guy? Good stuff.
-I like Dum Dums because when I used to go to the bank with my parents when I was little, we'd always go through the drive through. After my mom or dad would deposit their check or whatever they had to do, the teller would always send Dum Dums back for me with the receipt. I know you wanted to know that.
-In one way, I am still hopeless. Hopelessly silly I think. Slightly less hopeless (it's the whole jaded thing), but still hopeless.
-I miss people.
There, are you all happy now? I actually came up with some drivel to blather on about, all on my own. :-P
