2002-08-16 - 10:15 p.m. Contentment. This is an unusual feeling. While state parks may try and entice you to swim in their nasty water (ewwwwwwww), you're much better off going and just walking around in the nature. Which is what I did today. We saw a frog, a snake, a mole, numerous giant bugs, and a really freaky caterpillar. Maybe it's just that the simple things (for simple minds....) amuse me. Or maybe when I'm actually outside I feel like I'm really living? I don't know if it's the tiredness talking or what, but a day like this actually OUT enjoying the warm summer weather is worth about two weeks of being at that stupid job listening to people bitch about the heat (with the grand total of about five or six fun things I've done this summer, this actually works out). I wish people could try taking a break from existence sometimes and just LIVE. Grocery stores sure would sell less prune juice. ;)
