2002-08-14 - 12:07 p.m. I think it's about 300 degrees. In my house! I don't want to know what it's like outside unless someone takes me directly to a pool and throws me in. :P Well I sure wish I had something interesting to say, but as always, I don't. Today there is a graduate orientation that I am obviously not at. Yeeeah. I've got to keep telling myself that I will not go insane sitting here for four more months. I will find an interesting job and I will not go crawling back to the grocery store! I will practice three hours a day and maybe teach some lessons. All in all I will be a useful human being. Right?? It will all be worth it I think if I have a good birthday. Don't get me wrong, being a band geek is a good thing, but suffering through eight years of band camp birthdays isn't. Obviously I graduate and THEN my birthday is on a Saturday. I just can't win. But this year, I WILL have a good birthday. So it will all be good. (Rationalization is my favorite defense mechanism. Vanilla Coke is my favorite form of Coke.)
