Well, let's see. Today I went to work. At work I ate Hungarian snack mix all day. Then I came home and did nothing. That has been my day so far. :P

It's not that my job is that bad really. There are thousands of worse things to do than work in a grocery store. Like shoveling manure, sorting chickpeas, milking camels, that sort of thing. I really have no right to complain. It's just that most people that work in grocery stores do one set thing- cashier, stock, etc. Where I really have about four jobs in one. And get to deal with every inbred idiot on the face of the earth in the course of a few short hours, it seems. And the thing is, as my dad so helpfully pointed out, I just graduated college and I'm making $6.50 an hour. I mean it is only a summer job, but still. I'm going insane. I'm such a pushover that I've accepted all sorts of extra hours cooped up in that place, so I've barely seen anyone all summer. So yeah. Work is the absolute joy of my existence. Just today I successfully stocked about 90 dozen eggs and about thirty gallons of milk. I also helped one guy pick out the cat food that he had specifically written on a list. Do seemingly literate people lose the ability to read as they get old?

Well anyway, here I am being bored and boring again. The night is still young though, I suppose. I always look forward to an exciting evening of doing nothing! :P

Note: I actually purchased a copy of Glamour magazine yesterday. The sad thing is, I was actually looking for Cosmo and they didn't have any! I wish I had enough energy or attention span left to read an actual book. I used to do that. Then I got a new computer.... ;)
